At this point only released three studio albums in a career that was then in possession of a decade, Erykah Badu their energies on a series of conceptual albums that have consistantly make music for a while focusing decided. This is the first volume of the series. Always mindful not only of their genuine love and respect for not only music, but the spirit of jazz-funk Erykah here follows his muse in every possible way. With the exception of the intro"Amerykahn Promise" and "The Cell", the music here is usually Shys away from the uptempo funk and therefore do not prove a point. Not only is itself a wireless music a bit 'slower, but often it is considered that such a large number of slow burning groove is to bring attention to the texts. Of course, should also be noted that the two uptempo songs here have the most entries to be driving the overall concept album. This was a time when there is great uncertainty in the sharedCountry and the world economy in general and the very poor of the period was strong impact on the music industry Erykah is a part, but clumsy, which may have been for them. The overall message in this music is to do with the facts as they saw: That a whole society of missing persons, to improve the conditions of his life in the '60s and '70s had, for one reason or another found that the generation after them had neglected the commitment and / or abandoned, and moreimportant is that no one seemed to care. Here are stories of people still trapped in the ghetto Same syndromes of poverty and lack of knowledge that stirred so much attention in the past, so it's only fitting that this album really think more like a 70's flavor as it was occurring. The album has that charred a Riot Goin 'On-Sly was feeling, the only difference is, there are a lot of hip-hop effects in the mix. "Honey Cut", the bonus is the only song here that I shouldis actually more than a single track, what ends up a very album-oriented project. The album certainly packs more punch single oral form of text, because they are not musical, but has a nice slow burn acid jazz funk flow to everything anyway. Honestly ...... The album seems more exciting than it might appear at the end due to the fact that all sounds with his voice, manner and even the lyrics on some strong personal touch of a slightThe resignation by Badu. But fortunately for us, this is by far not the end of the chapter in this moment of musical career Erykah Badu.
