Although I am not an official member of the tribe of Badu, this artist can do no wrong. I know I'm me and I review Erykah his last letter, but I especially like to enjoy the process and journey of our favorite artists to comment on. Among my other favorites Angie Stone, Cassandra Wilson, and the other permanent sponsor of the "new" Soul, Meshell Ndegeocello. All these women are well developed and not always in a direction that I enjoy. , I respect their craft, as these sisterswhen all is said and done. But back to the point, I play the cut "Get Munny" endless and my world is in order. Erykah Thanks!

2010 release, the fifth studio album from the R&B/Neo-Soul superstar. In contrast to New Amerykah Part One (4th World War), which was digitally produced and political in tone, New Amerykah Part Two: Return of the Ankh features lush live instrumentation and taps into Badu's emotional side by thematically focusing on romance and relationships. "We used a lot of analog instruments...harps, strings, drums, piano, and even a Theremin, to give the album that sonic feel," says Badu. "There's a strong undercurrent of bottom, a rumbling to these songs that feels good to me. It feels like a hug."
