At this point only released three studio albums in a career that had at that time maintained a decade, Erykah Badu their energies for a series of conceptual albums that have consistantly making music for quite a while 'focusing Decided . This is the first volume of the series. Always mindful not only of their genuine love and respect for not only music, but the spirit of jazz-funk Erykah here follows his muse in every possible way. With the exception of the intro"Amerykahn Promise" and "The Cell", the music here is usually Shys away from the uptempo funk and therefore do not prove a point. Universal Motown's multi-platinum-selling, Grammy awardwinning singer/songwriter/actress Erykah Badu returns to the music scene with her new album "New Amerykah" featuring the debut single "Honey".
